Control measures in place.
All aspects for our customers are covered fully in our Rules Of Discipline And Safety During Games . Before each Laser Tag game we verbally instruct our customers and ask them to read and sign our written forms (see separate Rules sheet)
1a. Regular inspections of the playing area to remove any foreign objects
1b. The playing area are clearly defined by strong, bright red&white rope at waist height, and players are rounded up and led around the venue at all times by our fully trained staff.
1c. Hazards clearly explained during safety rules and give advices how players to do so as avoid its.
2a. Hand rails and support beams have been put in place to prevent persons from falling.
2b. All high places are securely constructed and are regularly inspected by staff before and after game days. Any damaged high places are taken out off play until fixed.
2c. Players instructed to not climb on unsafe areas.
3a. Operators will brief players on safety issues before being allowed to play
3b. Hazards clearly explained during safety rules and give advices how players to do so as avoid its
4a. Operators will monitor the games to deter anyone with intention to cause damage to the equipment or indict harm on anyone .
4b. Problem players will be noted by the operators and refused future participation in the interests of health and safety.
4c.On site security (if any), will be informed of the offending persons.
5a. All bunkers are securely constructed and are regularly inspected by staff before and after game days. Any damaged bunkers are taken out off play until fixed.
5b. Players instructed to not use unsafe bunkers.
5c. Tree surgeons inspect playing area and surrounding areas ensuring the areas are safe.
6. All electrics are inspected by a certified electrician and PAT (Portable appliance testing) tested.
7a. Smoke grenades are explained during safety rules before every session. (see attached safety rules sheet.)
7b. Safe camp fire is contained in a steel cage and is regularly checked by staff.
8a. All equipment and tools are fit for use tested regularly; all members of staff are monitored whilst using hand and power tools.
8b. Infra red emission .There is no regulations of low powered infra red emissions. All equipment have certificate of compliance with European standards.
Staff are trained to collect people together and take them to assembly point (Main car park)
Control Measure required
Game Managers (marshalls) and all staff to monitor and maintain excising control using hazard check list. Game Managers and all staff meet regularly for refresher training and review of control measure and risk assessment.
DISCLAIMER.
I understand that:
The game is physically and mentally demanding and may require extreme exertion to play. The play can be dangerous if not played in accordance with the stated rules, which I have read and understood.
The game is played in natural woodland, containing commonplace risks such as rabbit and fox holes, rough terrain and man-made obstacles.
I confirm and agree that:
I am fully aware of the risks to myself and others involved in the Check Point LaserTag Club game.
I am physically fit and mentally able to take the strain and exertion involved in the game.
I will comply with all the Check Point LaserTag Club rules and use the equipment as instructed and not so as to injure or hurt others.
I will obey all the directions of the Check Point LaserTag Club staff.
I will return any equipment hired to me, and due to the expensive nature of the taggers (laser guns) any damaged or missing equipment may incur a charge.
I agree that photographic equipment maybe used for the promotion of Active Leisure Club Ltd.
Release:
I will at all times conform to all safety rules in force and I will indemnity Active Leisure Club Ltd and their servants and agents and hereby absolve them from all liability in respect of death, illness, personal injury, accident or damage to persons or property howsoever this may arise or be caused .
